LANCASTER – Discover the wonder of winter and nature. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), Division of Natural Areas and Preserve invites the public to join the preserve staff at Christmas Rocks State Nature Preserve for a winter hike on Saturday, Feb. 20 from 9 a.m. to noon.

FINDLAY – Madisen Ely, of Laurelville, recently participated in the Art Space/Lima Photography Club’s 2016 Juried Photography Exhibit in Lima. Ely was awarded first place in the miscellaneous category for her photo, “The End of the Road.”

Some may remember the big flood of March 1964. This photo was taken behind the Hocking Hills Banking Center traveling from Freisner Avenue toward Second Street.
