LOGAN — Emergency crews extract Adeanna Chandler, 33, of Rockbridge, from this 2005 Dodge Stratus after a collision with a dump truck on U.S. 33 Thursday afternoon.

Chandler was removed from the car and placed on a stretcher, into the back of an ambulance, and taken to Hocking Valley Community Hospital.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, there were no visible injuries and she was wearing a safety belt. An update on her medical condition could not be determined Thursday afternoon.

The OSHP has cited Chandler for assured clear distance after she allegedly struck a Ford dump truck that was driven by Danny Ingram, 44, of Washington Court House. Ingram was slowing to turn right into a site that's being used as a staging area for construction on U.S. 33 this summer when he was rear-ended by Chandler, according to the OSHP.

Ingram was not injured in the accident.

The left lane of U.S. 33 eastbound was closed to traffic for approximately one hour until crews had a chance to clear debris from the roadway.

Besides the OSHP, the Logan Fire Department and Hocking County EMS responded to the scene.
