LOGAN — The trial of a New Straitsville man accused of stabbing, kicking and beating a man after he fell to the ground in January has been dismissed in Hocking County Common Pleas Court.

The trial of Jesse Brown, 23, who was indicted on charges of felonious assault after an alleged altercation with Corey Parker, 25, near Quality Coin Laundry in Logan, was dismissed following a request by the Hocking County Prosecutor’s Office.
