LOGAN — Logan High School will be hosting a college fair on Nov. 7 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Parents and students in all grades are encouraged to attend.
Representatives from the following universities and college will be in attendance: Ohio University, Marietta College, University of Rio Grande, Muskingum College, OU-Lancaster, Hocking College, Hocking College Logan Campus, Capital University, Central Ohio Technical College, DeVry University, Columbus State Community College, Ohio Christian College, Mount Vernon Nazarene University, Otterbein College, Tri County Adult Career Center, Urbana University, Ashland University, Lourdes University, Tiffin University, Bradford School, Lincoln College of Technology and University of Northwestern (Ohio).
Brighten Your Future also will be there to explain how to apply for scholarships and grants.
The purpose of a college fair is for students, parents and guardians to learn about the college process. Students and parents will have the opportunity to have several of their questions answered, such as what courses need to be taken in high school, which majors the colleges offer and what test scores are needed for admission.
Parent-teacher conferences also will be held during the evening of the college fair. The evening will provide parents a chance to meet with their child’s teachers. Parents and guardians must call 740-385-2069 extension 0 to make an appointment to meet with their child’s teacher.
