Dear Editor:

Per request from my interested readers, here is my news letter. We were given a tour by Theresa Schultheiss of the new Chieftain Center — WOW quite impressive and I think it will be good for our small town of Logan.

We had three relaxing days camping at Dillon State Park. Very nice place. Did a trike ride with Goldwing friends to donut place near Jackson and discovered a neat place called Dogwood Pass. Lots of Roy Rogers memorabilia and his daughter, Dodie, just happened to be there that day. We enjoyed our annual trip to OSF with Anita & Larry Starling, family reunion, hospital auction, Walker's corn roast, and watching Dwight Eisenhower at the Parade of the Hills.

In August we had a happy/sad going away party for our grandson, Kyle. Happy to celebrate his engagement and sad, but proud, to send him off for his basic training in the National Guard.

We finished up our Trek Ohio's last four stops with our Goldwing friends. Four hundres miles in one day on our trike.

We enjoyed the Hocking County Fair, watching our granddaughter, Kaylee, show her goat and enjoying the company of two sweet little boys, Landon and Lucas.

I am now serving on the Farm Bureau Board thanks to my friend????? Andy Good.

We attended the Chamber's Luau at "The Heart of the Country Event Barn" This was our first time there and it is a very nice place. It is amazing all the nice places in Hocking County to hold parties, weddings, etc. Looking forward to seeing "The Poston Manor & Event Barn" on Ladies Night Out.

Exciting things coming up, so stay tuned and enjoy each day the Good Lord gives us.
