Humane Society awarded $500

Logan High School FCCLA was recognized three times by its national affiliate for its students’ demonstration of leadership during the 2019-2020 school year. They were awarded a total of $1,500 to be granted to local projects. One of the three projects earned $500 to go to the Hocking County Humane Society. Pictured (left to right) is the Hocking County Humane Society President Carol Bownes, project leader McKayla Krasnosky, and 2019-2020 Chapter President Arizona Hamm. The remainder of the money went towards projects for the FCCLA scholarship fund and sexual harassment awareness.
