LANCASTER — The Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc., Ohio Chapter 10 is hosting a free dinner for Veterans and one guest on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 5 p.m. It will be held at Mills Memorial Church, 402 N. Broad Street, Lancaster.
The facility is handicap accessible. This dinner is to honor our veterans for their service to our country. The menu will consist of spaghetti, salad, bread, coffee/tea/water and dessert. There will be musical entertainment provided.
The space is limited to 50 veterans with one guest each. Reservations are required and will be first come, first served. Email: email@example.com or call 740-569-7495 to make a reservation.
Blue Star Mothers supports the troops and Veterans with connections to Fairfield County and the surrounding communities. They send monthly care packages to troops in war zones, and have sent over 4,060 since our beginning in June of 2007.
The organization also deliver 180 goody boxes per year to veterans who are in Fairfield County nursing homes for Veterans; and have helped with emergency situations for military families.
