LOGAN — Now that the weather has finally cooled off, everyone should be gearing up to wear their best Halloween costumes.

The earliest you can begin trick-or-treating is today, Oct. 18, in Perry County. Hopewell Health Centers in New Lexington will be hosting the 15th annual Trunk-or-Treat at the Perry County Fairgrounds beginning at 6 p.m. with setup starting at 5 p.m. This is an event for all families and children with local agencies and businesses decorating their vehicles up in the best disguise possible.

The annual Honey for the Heart Parade in Athens will be at 6 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 27, and will have a ball at Central Venue, 29 E Carpenter St., till 9 p.m. after the parade. The Wild Honey Bees will be playing while guests enjoy light refreshments and treats.

On Sunday Oct. 28, the fun continues with the Hocking Hills fall fest in downtown Logan from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a car show and Ugata Drum Circle and Dance from 2 to 4 p.m. The Kiwanis Halloween parade begins at 5 p.m. and if you have any questions contact Jesse Russell with Homegrown Happenings at 740-407-5894.
