Sunday, March 10

An Old McArthur Road resident reported the theft of a TV from the residence.

Monday March 11

Deputies responded to a business in Laurelville regarding threats made to the owner of the business. The owner stated Thomas Ashmore, 28, had entered into his business and threatened him over a pending court proceeding involving an incident, which occurred in his place of business. Ashmore was located at his residence and arrested for retaliation, a third-degree felony, and transported to Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.

Deputies responded to a state Route 664 North address regarding a criminal damaging incident. The victim stated during the night someone spray-painted the passenger side of her car with pink spray paint and slashed a hole in the sidewall of the rear passenger tire.

Tuesday, March 12

Deputies responded to a residence on Bigham Road regarding a burglary and theft of a TV.

Wednesday, March 13

Deputies responded to a state Route 93 South residence regarding a verbal dispute.

Deputies responded to a Lake Moor Village address regarding a verbal domestic dispute.

The Logan Police Department arrested Joseph Rogers, 37, on an arrest warrant for possession of drug abuse instruments through HCSO. During a pat-down of Rogers, capped hypodermic needles were located in his undergarments. Rogers was additionally charged with possessing drug abuse instruments, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Deputies were dispatched to a Jackson Street address regarding an erratic driver complaint.

Thursday, March 14

Deputies were dispatch to a Crawford Road address in reference to a complaint involving the removal of survey stakes.

Friday, March 15

Deputies responded to Haydenville Road for a domestic violence complaint. After investigation it was found that no threats or violence occurred.

Deputies responded to a Laurelville residence for an argument and child neglect report. No violence had occurred and deputies forwarded a copy of the report to Hocking County Children Services for review.

Deputies responded to Middlefork Road for a reported overdose. HCSO requested Laurelville Police Department respond until deputies arrived. Upon arrival of Hocking County EMS and Laurelville PD, the person had fled. It was learned by deputies that the subject had been found unconscious and was administered Nalxone by others in the residence. The subject regained consciousness and fled after being informed 9-1-1 had been called. Deputies seized a plastic bag with residue found in the residence.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Haydenville Road. The driver was operating under suspension. There were three occupants in the vehicle, two with warrants. Deputies arrested Brenda Rodehaver, 45, Guysville, on a warrant from Athens County. She was transported to the SEORJ. Cassy S. Hatfield, Albany, was arrested on a warrant from Fairfield County. She was transported to the Fairfield County Jail. A third person was released from the scene. Deputies also recovered suspected drugs from multiple locations inside the vehicle along with a .22 caliber pistol. The drugs will be submitted to the BCI crime lab for analysis and once completed presented to the Hocking County Prosecutors Office for potential indictment.
