Animals roam the hills

Columbus Zoo Animal Program Specialists Heather Conniff and Jennifer Dew presented some interesting critters to Hocking Hills Elementary students Tuesday. With the help of their furred, feathered and scaly friends, Conniff and Dew taught students about “amazing adaptation” — how animals have special behavior and physical characteristics that allow them to be well-suited for their natural environments. Some animals that came to town were (clockwise from top left) a lizard, a barn owl and an anteater.  To view more photos from the event, click HERE.
