The Rushcreek River Rats held their May Meeting at the St John’s Catholic Church. We had a bunch of fun seeing all the creative t-shirt designs for our club’s new shirts for the year. We then planned our second community service project at Mingo Park.
There was a lot of excitement about the 2021 summer 4-H camp as it will be a fun experience for anyone to join. The camp will cost $75 for those who attend and it will be overnight. Project judging date was discussed and will be on July 10. Each of the 4-H members will be judged on their projects that they chose.
The health officer talked about how to keep your heart healthy and then the safety officer talked about how to stay safe at the pool.
We ended the meeting by playing Musical Chairs organized by our recreational officers. We had a fun time and we are looking forward to all of the upcoming events!
