Local 4-H group provides gift bags to assisted living home

Ethan Schrader of the Carlin House Assisted Living Home holds one of the boxes of sacks that United Clovers 4-H members decorated, then filled with items for the residents. Items included hand sanitizer, hand lotion, stationary, pencil, lip balm, snacks, tissue pack, comb, and large-print word searches. The residents were given their bags on Easter Sunday. There were some items left over after the bags were delivered. The club has already donated the leftover products to the Operation Christmas Child program. It was a rewarding community service project and one the club just may continue to do.
