Rolling Hills 4-H Club community service

Some members of the Rolling Hills 4-H Club donated non-perishable food items to the Shepherd of the Valley U.B. Church Food Pantry. June and July were the club’s designated Food Drive months as one of their Community Service projects. Each member was required to bring three items. June’s was to bring their favorite cereals. The club donated 62 boxes! For July, the coordinator for the pantry, Alice Blatchley wanted to be able to give a treat to the children so she asked the club to buy some of their favorite snacks and cookies. The club donated 63 snacks and cookies! Food from this pantry helps people in need in our community and makes their days a little brighter.
