Serving community meal

On Thursday, March 12, the Scouts of Boys Troop 236 and Girls Troop 236 served the Community Meal at the Logan Presbyterian Church. The Community Meal is served on a rotating, weekly basis in Logan. It is a place where children, the elderly or people in need of help can receive a hot meal and talk. The meal rotates among the Church’s in Logan, so contact your local church to get the schedule. The Scouts volunteered to serve the meal, to serve the community. Community Service is a large part of Scouting. Some of the Girls are not only members of Scouts U.S.A., but also local Girl Scout Troops. Boys and Girls Troops 236 are chartered by the Logan Presbyterian Church, a part of the Hocking Valley District, Simon Kenton Council of Scouts U.S.A.
