Sweet news

Bryson Howard shows off the cake – sponsored by The Logan Daily News – that he won in a cakewalk that was part of Saturday’s Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee event. Local businesses and organizations sponsored cakes to be awarded as prizes in the cakewalk; the cakes were made by Tacie Palmer of Tacie’s Sweet Treats. Other cake winners (and cake sponsors) included Darrin Cox (Buckeye Granite Plus); Mattie Wagner (Partydreams/Hocking Hills Balloons & Event Décor); Ethan Drescher (Roberts Funeral Home); Faithlynn Villiers (Merchants National Bank); Riley Blake (Logan Town Center); Kendall Walsh (Hocking Hills Tourist Association); Jackson Gabriel (Tansky Motors/Kevins); Myranda Champ (Hocking Hills DIY/Aperture Design); and Sophia Marie Salsbury (Ed Green Electric).
