LOGAN — The United Clovers 4-H Club held its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. on July 8, at Shepard of the Hills Church. During the meeting club members discussed upcoming skill-a-thon and Domino’s Pizza Card Fundraiser pickup.
A demonstration on cake decorating was presented by Valen, and a demonstration on training your rabbit by Danica (with assistance from Cooper.)
There was a guest speaker, Kelli Brehn from the Hocking County Health Department, asked to attend by Beth. Brehn talked about alcohol and drug abuse as well as peer pressure.
The next meeting is Aug. 26 at 6 p.m. at the Shepard of the Hills Church.

On July 15, the United Clovers President, treasurer, and news reporter were supervised by two advisors as they visited a few of Hocking County’s first responders to present them with a Domino’s Pizza Card as a sign of the club’s appreciation for all that these brave men and women do.
Cards were presented to the Logan Police Department, Logan Fire Department, Hocking County Sheriff’s Office, Hocking County 911 Center, Hocking County EMS, and Hocking Valley Community Hospital Emergency Department.
