LANCASTER — FAIRHOPE Hospice & Palliative Care welcomes community members of all ages and experience levels to make a difference as part of their volunteer team. Volunteers partake in rewarding experiences through opportunities in patient companionship, clerical duties and community outreach.

“We are extremely grateful for our volunteers who devote their time to make a lasting impact on our patients, their families and our staff,” said Denise Bauer, FAIRHOPE President/CEO. “Volunteers gain great experience in a variety of healthcare and hospice roles and I highly encourage everyone to join our FAIRHOPE family.”

Registration for the upcoming FAIRHOPE Hospice Volunteer Training Class is open. Starting on March 4, classes will be held every Wednesday for six weeks at our Pickering House location from 6-9 p.m.

For more information about volunteering or to register for training, call Twylia Summers, Volunteer Manager, at 740-475-0657.
