LOGAN — The Annual Financial Report of the Hocking Soil and Water Conservation District for the year 2017 has been completed and may be reviewed at their office located at 148 North Homer Avenue, Logan, during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

LOGAN — The Logan City Tax Incentive Review Council (LCTIRC) will meet at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22 at the Hocking County Commissioners Office, 1 E. Main Street (courthouse).

LOGAN — The Hocking County Fair Board voted to reduce the time for 2018 market livestock weigh-ins during their meeting on Feb. 13. Steer weigh-in and tagging will be on Saturday, March 3 from 8-10 a.m. Weigh-in/tagging for goats, sheep and swine will be on Saturday, June 2 from 7-10 a.m.

POMEROY — The Southeast Ohio Foodbank, a program of Hocking Athens Perry Community Action, will be hosting a dry dog food giveaway, Friday, Feb 9, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Meigs County Fairgrounds, Pomeroy.

LOGAN — Falls Township Trustees announce a load limit reduction of 50 percent on all township roads effective Feb. 1 through April 30.

LOGAN — On Saturday, Feb. 3, the Southeast Ohio Foodbank & Kitchen will be holding a public volunteer event packing commodity supplemental food boxes and sorting food donations from 9 a.m. to noon.

GIBISONVILLE — Laurel Township Trustees held their reorganizational meeting for 2018 on Dec. 29, 2017. Jeff Hatfield will serve as Chairman, Steve Hampshire as Vice Chairman, and John Williams as Trustee. Debbie Angle is the Fiscal Officer.

LOGAN — Hocking County Engineer Bill Shaw announced the reduction of the legal load limit by 50 percent on all county roads will be effective Feb. 1 until April 30, with the exception of County Road 33A, Chieftain Drive; County Road 33B, Hocking Drive; and County Road 25, Haydenville Road.

ATHENS — The 2017 Financial Statements of the Hocking Conservancy District and Margaret Creek Subdistrict are completed and are available for review at the office of the Hocking Conservancy District at 560 West Union St., Athens.

LOGAN — The Pet Orphanage is sponsoring a cat spay/neuter clinic. Pre-registration and pre-payment (cash only) is required. Pre-registration will be held on Saturday, Feb. 3, from 9-10 a.m. at the Hocking Hills Chamber of Commerce, 96 W. Hunter St.

LOGAN — In compliance with Ohio Revised Code, Section 117.38, the 2017 Financial Report for the Logan-Hocking Local School District has been filed with the Auditor of State.

LOGAN – Due to the recent inclement weather, the Jan. 13 pre-registration for the cat spay/neuter clinic has been rescheduled to Saturday, Jan. 20.

ROCKBRIDGE — The Good Hope Township annual financial report has been completed and can be viewed at any meeting or by contacting the fiscal officer, Jack McGrady.

LAURELVILLE — The 20017 Annual Financial Report for Perry Township, Hocking County, is complete. The report is available at the office of the fiscal officer, Clayton E. Stahr, 20535 state Route 180.

SOUTH BLOOMINGVILLE — The annual financial report for Benton Township, Hocking County has been completed and all supporting documents are now available for public inspection.
