LOGAN — On Monday, Sept. 9 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. the water service will be interrupted on West Hunter Street from Furnace to Iron Street; Iron Street from West Hunter to Third Street; and Church Street from Elm to West Street.
This will affect 31 service connections, due to water improvement project.
Customers may experience discolored water and air in lines. After the repairs have been made, affected customers will be under a boil advisory for a minimum of 48 hours. Boil advisory will be issued on the City of Logan website, Hocking County EMA Alert, The Logan Daily News, Hocking County Health Department, and the Hocking County Sheriff's Office web pages.
Once samples have been collected and confirmed negative, boil advisory will be rescinded. The City apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause to its customers.
