Grace Anne (Little) Bearden, age 83 years, of Logan, Ohio, formerly of Hudson, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan, Ohio.
She was born on Jan. 16, 1937, in Hudson, the daughter of William S. and Maurine A. (Atkinson) Little.
Grace attended Hudson High School. She worked as a secretary throughout her life in Ohio, Georgia and Nevada. Grace Anne loved spending a lot of time with her family. She enjoyed gardening, especially flowers, playing cards, bingo and dancing.
Grace Anne is survived by her four children, Samuel (Melisha) Hammel of Alamogordo, N.M., Randolph (Ramona) Hammel of Hudson, Cynthia (Roger) Hamilton of Logan, Ohio and Jennifer Hammel of Columbus, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Steven Miller, Julie Blackburn, Alicia Stewart, Ashley Cook, Jacob Hammel, Lara Baker, Tenijha Hammel, Joshua Hammel and Joseph Hammel; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and her dog, Daisy.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Maurice and Verdie Atkinson, parents, and brother, William Little.
Funeral services for Grace will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9 at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Hudson with Pastor Carol J. Freeland officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service. Due to COVID-19 restrictions masks must be worn and a limited number of people will be allowed in the funeral home at a time.
