Marsha Mae Sloan-Helber, aged 66, of Logan, formerly of Lancaster and New Lexington, passed away on Aug. 4, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in New Lexington, Ohio on Sept. 20, 1955 to Vicie Caulene (Page) Sloan and the late James Lewis Sloan.
Marsha was a long time nursing professional and enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband, Billy Joe "Red" Helber; her children Kari (Kris) James, Frederick Colvin, Audra (Ben) Gibson, and Jami Helber; grandchildren, Kaden James, Kenyon James, Eric Colvin, Jeffrey Mullinax; brothers, Ted (Holly) Sloan, David (Chrissy) Sloan; sister, Dorothy (Charles) Adams; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, Marsha was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Sloan.
Marsha's funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8 at the Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio with Pastor Steve Rauch officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
Visitation will take place on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
