LOGAN — The eighth grade girls volleyball team beat Lancaster Ewing in two sets, 25-18 and 25-11.

Natalie Pierce contributed four kills; Avery Debord three kills; Ella Ditty two kills; and Rachel Bauers, Avery Dicken, Jenna Dearth, all with one kill each. Natalie Pierce and Ella Ditty with three aces each; Zoe Green with two aces; and Jenna Dearth with one ace. Sophie Swope, Ditty and Haley Nunley all had a dig each. The team is now 5-0.

The seventh grade volleyball team beat Lancaster Ewing in a tough match, 24-18 and 26-24.

Avery Moore led the team in aces with seven, followed by Ava Nihiser with five, Makenzie Muncie three, and Kaelyn Ogg one. Kills for the team were Ryann Landis three, Nihiser and Moore two each, and Jennie Funk one. Funk led the team in digs with five followed by Irene Harrah with tjree, Muncie and Mekenna Quier two each, and Emma Williams, Moore, Kyla Sigafoose, and Nihiser one each.

The girls are now 5-0 on the season and took on Jackson at home on Wednesday night.
