LOGAN — Logan High School’s archery team competed in the state IBO 3D championship this past weekend and placed second as a team and Dylan Burns placed fourth while Jacob Dewitt placed fifth individually.
“We shot good but definitely room for improvement,” stated archery coach Brian Fickel.
Jon Hasting shot his personal best which helped the team a lot. The team will be competing for a state title in two weeks in Columbus for the bullseye tournament.
“We need to buckle down the next two weeks because it’s only going to get tougher from here on out,” Fickel added. “The 3D shoot is competitive but competition will really ramp up for the state bullseye tourney everyone wants to win the bullseye.”
