LOGAN — Three different players scored twice as the Logan eighth-grade soccer team routed visiting Circleville 7-1 on Wednesday.

The win came on the heels of a 3-1 triumph the previous night at Fairfield Union.

Emerson Sowers, Ryan Myers and Karson Harris all had two goals and Bradyn Halley added one for the eighth-grade team (6-2-1) against Circleville, with Ayden St. Clair dishing out an assist and Jordan Leavitt making eight saves. Mollie Landis, Ashton Mason and Avery Cook-Porter turned in solid performances.

At Fairfield Union, Sowers had two goals and Harris one, St. Clair and Landis chipped in one assist each, and Leavitt made seven saves. Myers, Josie Funk and Jaxon Lytle gave the Purple & White solid field games.

The Logan seventh-grade squad (2-4-2) was shut out 1-0 Tuesday at Hamilton Township. Gabby Mundy, Silas Crawford and Kaleb Harper were credited by the coaches with playing well for Logan.
