WILLIAMSPORT — Teays Valley edged host Westfall for the championship while the Logan Lady Chiefs finished fifth out of 10 teams at Monday’s Westfall Invitational girls golf tournament.

The Lady Vikings (168) held off the Lady Mustangs (170), followed by Bloom-Carroll (183), Warren (184) and Logan (200) in the nine-hole event at Crown Hill Golf Club.

Gallia Academy (203), Fairfield Union (225) and Vinton County (250) were next in line. Zane Trace and Madison Plains did not have enough players to register a team score.

Ashley Aldridge and Lauren Johnson had rounds of 47 to finish tied for 11th overall. Tessa Luicart and Grace Johnson both carded 53s, Dreena Wiseman had 54 and Anna Mulrooney 74.

The Lady Chiefs head east for the Tri-Valley Invitational at EagleSticks Golf Club outside Zanesville on Wednesday before finishing the week at the Watkins Memorial Invitational Friday at Cumberland Trail Golf Club.
