LOGAN — The Logan seventh-grade boys basketball team dropped a pair of home games to begin the 2020 portion of its season.

Visiting Lancaster Ewing beat the Logan boys 44-38 on Monday, taking quarter leads of 15-13, 22-19 and 36-25 in so doing.

Jackson Stimmel led the young Chiefs (5-3) with 14 points, followed by Jack Walsh with eight, Blake Chambers with six, Kallen Wilson with four and Kaden Morgan and Jacob Kahrig with three apiece.

On Saturday, Pickerington Ridgeview led 16-3, 30-3 and 44-13 at the breaks and recorded a 56-18 win over Logan.

Stimmel led Logan with six points, Walsh had five, Chambers, Kahrig and Wilson all scored two and Morgan added one.
