LOGAN — The dining in option at restaurants throughout the county and Ohio has stopped due to concerns of potentially spreading coronavirus (COVID-19).
Last Tuesday, during a press conference with President Donald Trump, Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin discussed sending payments to small businesses, airlines and hotels, stimulus package, business interruption package. This may place $1 trillion into the country’s economy.
The Trump administration also discussed sending checks to Americans immediately; specifically within the next two weeks. It was not specified what the check amounts would be.
Though many businesses will see their incomes diminish and be forced to cut back on staffing, eateries are utilizing alternative options such as carryout and delivery in order to remain open.
The following is a list of eateries that are offering either carryout, delivery or both as well as a couple of restaurants that have decided to close for an extended period of time:
Bob’s Pizza House is open Tuesday through Sunday, offering carryout from 4 to 9:30 p.m. Give them a call at 740-385-6839.
Brewery 33 Hocking Hills is offering carryout beer. Their number is 740-385-6033.
Bush’s Restaurant will be available for pick-up and delivery orders from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Their number is 740-385-7639.
Captain Ron’s Pirate Pizza is currently closed until further notice.
Carpenter’s Mini Mart is asking customers to call in and ask what is currently in stock. They can be reached at 740-380-6496.
Chelle’s 33 Diner will be open today from 3 to 8 p.m. and are updating their hours on a daily basis. Drive Thru and delivery are available. Call 740-385-4044.
As of Monday, Hocking Hills Diner is closed until further notice.
This week, Hocking Hills Frozen Yogurt is allowing carryout from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Hocking Hills Inn and Coffee Emporium is open for carryout from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays through Thursdays and then 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Give them a call at 740-300-0020.
Home Tavern is offering carryout and in town deliveries from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. They can be reached at 740-385-9985.
Hungry Buffalo Restaurant is closed until the Stay at Home order is lifted.

Jack’s Steak House is closed until the Governor’s order is lifted.

Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant is offering carryout and delivery during their regularly scheduled business hours. Reach them at 740-385-9060.
Maya Burrito will have normal business hours for carryout. They will do delivery from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. within the city limits of Logan. Orders can be placed through Facebook or by calling 740-380-9773.
The Max Bar and Grill is currently closed until further notice.
M&M Family Diner is open 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday for carryout. Give them a call at 740-380-9181.
Millstone BBQ is closed until the Stay at Home order is lifted.
The Olde Dutch Restaurant is currently closed.
Pearl’s Diner is temporarily closed.
Penny’s Pastries updated their hours to 5:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. from Tuesday through Friday and Saturday from 6 a.m. until 12 p.m. They are asking for only three customers to enter at a time. Their number is 740-385-5190.
Pizza Crossing announced Monday, the Logan and Lancaster locations will be closing until at least April 7.
Tacie’s Sweet Treats is closing until the "stay at home" order is lifted.

Weaver’s Market and Deli is asking for people to call ahead with deli orders if possible. Anyone 60 or older can call ahead and have their order brought out to their car. Their number is 740-380-6901. They ask customers to stay six feet apart from each other.

On Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7 to 8 a.m. Kroger of Logan is dedicating this time for senior citizens, identified as 60 and older, to shop. They are also encouraging all other shoppers to come to their store from 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday through Sunday.
Walmart of Logan will be open 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. until further notice and their Auto Care Center is temporarily closed. They will also host an hour-long senior shopping event every Tuesday, starting today at 6 a.m.
